Hallows Cardigan
This handsome little cardigan was inspired by the pullover worn by Ron Weasley in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1”. It will be an excellent addition to any young man’s wardrobe, with its eye-catching cables and chunky buttons. Made of worsted weight yarn, this sweater will knit up quickly, and is sure to charm your young wearer!
To make mirroring cables, use the following rows for the RIGHT FRONT side:
Row 3: K2, P3, K3, P2, K2, c4f, P2, K10 (12, 16, 20, 22)
Row 4: as row 2
Row 5: K2, P3, K3, P2, c4f, K2, P2, K10 (12, 16, 20, 22)
Row 6: as row 2
If you are wanting the ribbing to line up perfectly at the bottom edges of the body, make the fronts first, then start the back ribbing with whichever stitch you need to accomplish this. Doing this will enable your k2,p2 ribbing to continue in pattern around the whole bottom edge when sewn together.
ERRATA: After ribbing at bottom edge, pattern says to inc 1 st for size 6-8yr. Do not inc for the 6-8yr size, but rather the size 10.
