This hat is almost exclusively worked on the wrong side with purls. I’ve included instructions on how to knit “backwards” (or from left to right, working the knit stitch from behind) so you can see the right side out and see the pattern.

Errata: Please note that the increase rows were written incorrectly in the original pattern; there should be an additional three purls after the 1>5. If you downloaded the pattern before 2-1-11, please download it again.
