When you ask me why I love brioche knitting, this is the answer! It is so squishy, always surprising and never becomes boring!
The HALMA hat is showing crossed brioche lines all around and an easy peasy crown solution. The transition from brim to pattern is perfect to make you familiar to the pattern, which is a combination of well-known brioche stitches.
The hat has a brim, is very stretchy, slightly slouchy and well-fitting at the same time. It’s important to note that there are a few 4-stitch-decreases to be knit. You can do it, knitters!
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown.
The pattern includes step by step instructions and pictures how to knit the 4-stitch-decrease & increase.
