This is a great little project full of fun techniques such as provisional cast on, short rows, felting, bobble, and kitchener stitch. It is small enough to give fast results, but interesting enough to keep anyone motivated.

You could also modify the shape of the cookie to make a round pastry instead of a Hamantashen.
