Hamish the Westie (West Highland Terrier)
Easy to follow instructions for knitting and felting your own Westie with Westitude!
The Hamish Dog is knitted and the pieces felted (fulled) before assembly. Once assembled you have the perfect form for adding needle felted detail to bring your Little dog to life and for a totally unique realistic appearance.

80g White/Off white 100% wool yarn (Not Super-wash Aran weight, I used Drops Alaska)
Carded Merino wool fibre (long lengths white)
grey, brown, black and white needle felting wool (I also used a little place fleece for extra shine to the coat)
1 x pair 5mm Knitting needles
knitters needle for sewing up
Toy filling
Needle felting needle.
Tension 17 sts and 22 rows to 10 cm square, measured over st st using 5mm needles.
Not suitable for children.
