The Hamnö Skirt is worked in the round from the bottom up in stocking stitch using 1 strand of each yarn held together.
Uppermost, at the waist, the edge is worked in alpaca yarn only; this edge is then folded down and stitched to the wrong side and a wide elastic band is inserted.
