Hamsa hand crochet applique pattern!

Using 3mm hook the width of the applique is 19,5 cm and the height 27 cm approximately(I used Katia Capri for the whole pattern).
I also tried this pattern with 1,5mm hook(cotton mercerized yarn Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush) and the width is 11,5 cm and the height 15,5 cm approximately.
