This little pet bug mashup is a quick knit on double-pointed needles that starts with a seamless body and incorporates fluttery wings that you attach using mattress stitch.

Designed to be knitted in fingering-weight yarn, you can scale it up easily with thicker yarn and bigger needles.

A great project for yarn scraps—try hand-dyed yarn for the wings!
