This sweater has an oversized box silhouette.

Hana sweater is knitted flat and the front and back are each made up of three pieces, that are knitted using a modular technique. Once the body and sleeves are finished, the shoulders, sleeves and body seams are sewn together by embroidery.

The edges where stitches are picked up are decorated with embroidery. And the same applies for the neck hem and cuffs which are also embroidered, this time using blanket stitch.

Pattern notes
セーターは、往復編みで編みます。
身頃は、3つのピースを編み繋げたもの ( 1片を編み、一度伏せ目をします。そのまま糸を切らずに編み終えたピースの側面から目を拾って編み繋げていきます。) を2枚 // 前身頃と後身頃 // 編みます。
袖も往復編みで2枚編みます。
ブロッキングをした後 ( スチームアイロンをかけると作業しやすいです。)、身頃、袖、脇を刺繍の様に縫いかがります。
目を拾った端と、首元、手首、裾にも刺繍をして仕上げます。
