Haname
Haname is designed for Höner och Eir using Nutiden, 100% Swedish wool.
I created a stitch specially for this shawl to feature the soft and airy texture of the yarn. It looks like an embroidered stitch in the shape of a flower bud. The shawl is named Haname (pronounced ha-na-may), which means flower bud in Japanese.
Knitting begins from the tip of the shawl. Increases are made on one edge to give the shawl an asymmetrical shape. The knitting ends with a few repeats of a chevron lace pattern.
The shawl is knitted with yarns held double throughout, except for the lace panel, which is knitted with a single strand of yarn.
