According to Wikipedia, Hanami (花見, “flower viewing”) is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers; flowers (hana) in this case almost always refer to those of the cherry or, less frequently, plum trees.
Hanami is the set of patterns joined by similar elements and inspired by the beauty of the awakening nature. The set consists of round, square and oval doilies that will be released one by one in my Ravelry store.
DETAILS
The pattern consists of 22 rounds.
Crochet skill level is advanced. You will need to work front and back post stitches, two stitches together and clones knots. All abbreviations, special stitches, and techniques are explained in detail.
Your tension will determine things like hook size, yardage, finished size, and height of stitches. Any of these things can be adjusted as needed. Using recommended thread and hook this pattern will use minimum 265 yards / 245 metres of thread. And your finished doily will be about 9,5’ / 24 cm in diameter.
