Hand Cozies - Women's Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves are so soft and cozy, you won’t ever want to take them off! This pattern includes 2 sizes: for women and children.

Materials Needed:
3.25 mm hook, or hook needed to obtain measurements
6-70 yards (child) or 100-115 yards (adult) #3 light weight Bernat Baby Softee in Flannel, or Soft Peach
Scissors
Yarn needle
2 5/8” Metal buttons

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
Special Stitches:
Working in the back bump of a sc – Instructions: Look at the back of the stitch and locate the short bar that runs horizontal. Work all stitches for the round into this bar. (See picture in pattern)
Working in the 3rd Loop of hdc – Instructions: Look at the top of the stitch, and locate the sideways “V”, bend the stitch to look at the back and you should see another “V” made by the “yarn over”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”. This is called the 3rd loop. When you are working in rows, this 3rd loop will be facing you after you turn!

st/sts = stitch/stitches
sp/sps = space/spaces
Measurements:
Child’s mitts: 4 1/2” tall by 3 1/2” wide at widest point. Wrist and finger openings are approximately 2 1/2” across with plenty of stretch.
Women’s mitts: 6” tall by 3 3/4” wide at widest point. Wrist and Finger openings are 3” across with plenty of stretch.
Additional Notes:
-ch 1 at beginning of round does not count as stitch.
