hand-knit diaper soaker
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Great, simple pattern. Easily adaptable.
We’re going to use cloth diapers on our baby, so making these soakers has been a great money saver!
I’d recommend using superwash wool for this. It breathes better than synthetics, but still repells moisture. I especially like Cascade 220 Superwash, but the Lamb’s Pride superwash has some great colors (it’s just a little thinner than I’d like).
I also altered the pattern in that I prefer to crochet around the leg hole over knitting a cuff. It makes a softer edge.
The Finnish version of the patterncan be found here: http://www.kolumbus.fi/wilhelmiina/neuleohjeet.htm
