A simple fingerless mitt pattern with a small thumb gusset. Worked from the bottom up. I used a partial skein of a stashed yarn.

I knit this using magic loop. When knitting the thumb gusset make sure to knit in the middle of the needle or DPN, thus the pattern reads knit 8, PM, etc. Feel free to knit less at the beginning of the row if using DPN.
