If you love to make hand bags and are ever overwhelmed with how to finish them, this may be just what you are looking for.

This pattern will teach you how to make a double layered thermal stitch handle strap that can be paired with a mosaic sleeve to complete your bag ensemble. The pattern directions and chart are included for the mosaic sleeve that appears in the photo.

I also include suggestions on how to alter the strap that give you the option of creating one to any size desired and offer advice on how you can complete a sleeve that coordinates with YOUR bag, whether it is a mosaic bag or one made using another stitch combination.

You will need:

• A coordinating fiber that works with the color scheme of your bag (I used cotton remnants from the mosaic bag I planned this handle and sleeve for)
• 2 - swivel clasps
• Purse rings (these are optional - depending on what you plan to attach the handle strap to)
• A couple of days to work these accessories up
