Keeping your hands warm whilst cycling can be difficult, but not with these mittens. Colourful and cheerful, they will brighten up any grey day.

This easy to crochet pattern can be made in a fingerless or full mitten style. It uses three different colours of DK weight yarn and features alternating stripes of different stitches. This pattern is suitable for beginners.

Handlebar hands is part of a matching set with Cadence Cowl and Helmet Head and is available as the Peloton collection, all inspired by the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire in 2014.

Sizes:

To fit palm circumference: 18 cm (7”), 21 cm (8”) and 23 cm (9”)

Fingerless mittens length (wrist crease to mitten top): 14 cm (5.5”) all sizes

Full mittens length (wrist crease to mitten top): 22 cm (8.5”), 24 cm (9.5”) and 24 cm (9.5”)
