Short and long model with classic top or opening finger valve. Mittens working down up in rounds. The valve works top down and sewn to the main mittens.

Sizes:
17 (18, 19, 20) = hand circumference (HC)

This instruction has 2 options of mittens with difference gauge.
1) 20 stitches х 30 rounds – 10 cm х 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles after blocking or
2) 23 stitches х 32 rounds – 10 cm х 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.0 mm needles after blocking
Materials:
 Yarn for gauge 20 sts х 30 rounds – 70-90 m (Infiniti Big Alpaca Wool - 45% Alpaca, 55% Wool; Fonty “Mongolia 5”- 85% Merino, 15% Baby Yack; Drops Nepal - 65% Wool, 35% Alpaca; BBB Full - 100% Merino).
You need: 100 g for short mittens, 150-180 g – for long mittens.
Yarn for gauge 23 sts х 32 rounds – 50g/100-115m (Oscar – 80% Wool, 20% Yack; Laines Du Nord Merino Yak – 70% Merino, 15% Alpaca, 15% Yack; Drops Lima, SG Alpaca ULL– 65% Wool, 35% Alpaca)
You need: 80-100 g for short mittens, 130-150 g for long mittens.
 Circular needles (60 cm long) for magic loop: 4.5 mm and 3.5 mm for gauge 20 sts х 30 rounds; 4.0 mm and 3.0 mm for gauge 23 sts х 32 rounds. You can work with double point needles (DPN).
