This cushion is made up of blocks that can also be used to knit afghans, bedspreads (counterpanes) or a number of other projects.

The pattern has been typed in a more modern manner and charts have been added.

The photo shows the main shaped blocks that make up the cushion. There is also an optional triangular piece to fill in the corners if you don’t want slanted corners.
