This is ONE pattern with variations on the ear and tail finishing techniques, that will allow you to create a Bunny and a Hamster using the same adaptable pattern. The body base (not including ears) of the animals is approx. 7” (18cm) tall.
They are a lot of fun and can be used in a multitude of ways, such as:
<p>
Crochet Hook Holder, Candy Holder, Pen/Pencil Holder, Car antennae Display, Business Card/Sign Display, Balloon Weight, Flower Holder and more!
<p>
They make great gifts for teachers, office co-workers, or fellow crocheters. Kids will also get a kick out of finding ways for them to be “handy”.
<p>
Photos are included to assist with proper placement and assembly. If you require additional assistance, I will be happy to help!
<p>
The pattern is in English and uses US Standard terms. It contains instructional photos, detailed instructions and grants permission to sell the finished animal.
<p>
You should be familiar with SC in rounds and rows, increasing, decreasing, working front and back loops, and hand stitching.
<p>
Materials Required:
<p>
Crochet Hook G (4mm)
Red Heart Super Saver or similar Medium Worsted Weight Yarn in each of the following colors:
1 to 1.5 skeins Grey (or chosen main color), 1 to 1.5 skeins Light Brown/Tan (or chosen main color), Dark Brown, White, Black, Pink, or any other colors that suit your animal!
Polyfill stuffing, scissors, sewing needle and stitch marker.
You can also substitute felt for the mouth and teeth.
<p>
Gauge is not essential to this project, but be sure that your hook size and tension creates a fabric without holes. You can use a 3.75mm, but this may result in a smaller animal, and may affect the size of the hand grip.
