Hanefjed is the women’s version of the sweater Hane (male). Hanefjed is the Danish word for houndstooth pattern.

This is a sweater/pullover worked from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color allover pattern. The sweater has a combined round and raglan yoke and sleeve construction. The Sweater has traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (2-color stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 90 meters per 50 grams.

Pattern includes directions for a size S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL with chest width 96, 102, 109, 118, 127 and 136 centimeters and a length of 61, 63, 65, 66, 67 and 68 centimeters.

This pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is familiar with 2-color stranded knitting, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, charts and work increases, decreases and pick up stitches.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
