Wanted to make something unique. My husband wanted something that matches his modern art work. I came up with variety of drawings and he picked out the design in the graph. So I named the project Hanes and the diamond shape that it takes when it is joined. Once you master making the square you can turn it or have it placed to different designs. The Granny design can be used to make various designs similar to quilting. The pattern is not as hard as it looks. Try the pattern and tag me. I would like to see the various designs created using the pattern.

I used caron simply soft from Michael’s.and one color from Joann’s.

I did not count the exact # of yarn I used, I started with scrap yarn then used the new ones. More than 15 or more
