Here is a satisfying blend of pretty + practical: 3 baskets that hang together or separately. First, decide if you want to make felted baskets or not. Then, consider if you want to make Fair Isle baskets, or embellish a basket with no patterning after it is finished. The photos and “recipes” allow you to use worsted weight to bulky yarn. There is also a Fair Isle chart and the bird designs you see in the photos.

For the basket straps, more choices: you can make I-cords or twisted cords. Directions for both are given, as well as instructions for carabiner fasteners OR buttons.

What is particularly satisfying about these baskets is that you can make them from your stash, and then stash your stash in them!
