Hanging Gardens
Hanging Gardens is a comfortable pullover knit seamlessly from the top down.
At the top of the yoke some short rows are worked to lower the front neckline. When the neckline shaping is complete the yoke is worked in the round and it is shaped with raglan shaping.
After the yoke is complete the stitches of the sleeves are set a side and the body is worked to the bottom hem, then the sleeves are worked in the round to the cuff.
Finally the stitches of the neckband are picked up and one round is worked in rib pattern to finish the neckline.
The sample is knit with 2 different yarns to create an interesting textured fabric but you can knit this pullover in one colour for a basic garment or follow the stripe sequence for a 2-colour version.
