Hanging Gingerbread Ornaments
Easily the most recognizable part of the Christmas season is gingerbread! So celebrate the season with these easy-to-make gingerbread ornaments! This pattern walks you through a male and female variant, and they’re guaranteed to liven up any Christmas tree!
This pattern gives you TWO in one, allowing you to make two different variations of the ornament. With a 40-page PDF filled with descriptions and images, and a print friendly section at the end, this pattern is an absolute bang for its buck!
Each ornament measures about 4” tall (not counting the cherry), using the yarn I used and my tighter tension.
What You’ll Need:
- DK Weight Yarn in: --------A Brown/Tan --------White --------Red
- Thin scraps of yarn in different colors
- Crochet Hook to match your yarn size
- Tapestry Needle
- Gold Ribbon/Thread for Hanging
- Mini Buttons in Various Colors (optional)
- Mini Flower Buttons (optional)
- Tacky Glue (optional)
If you have any issues, I’m happy to lend a hand as you work through this pattern!
