Hanging Hearts Bunting
This is a pattern for 3 dimensional heart bunting and can be made in any double knit yarn. One heart uses approximately 31m of yarn, so the exact amount you will need for your bunting will depend on the number of hearts you choose to make.
The pattern is written using US terminology. If you would like to have this pattern converted into UK terminology, please do just drop me a message and I would be more than happy to help.
The stitches used are -
Chain
Slip Stitch
Single Crochet
Single Crochet decrease
Magic Loop
Instructions are included for making a single crochet decrease and a full step by step photo tutorial for making a magic loop can be found at the back of the pattern.
The pattern uses a 3.5mm hook, yarn needle and approximately 6g of toy stuffing per heart. You may also find a stitch marker or a length of yarn in an alternative colour is useful for marking your stitches as the lower section of the heart is made working in continuous rounds.
I would suggest this pattern is suitable for beginners with a little experience.
