PATTERN AND SIZING NOTES

• For this quick crochet hat and scarf set crochet, you must have knowledge of: working in the BB of the foundation chain, slip stitch, single crochet, single crochet in the back loop (for hat ribbing), triple crochet, seaming and also working in the round in a continuous spiral (not joined rows)
• This textured crochet winter set is made (with the exception of the ribbed brim on the hat) in a continuous spriral so there are no seams.
• The stitch used for this quick crochet hat and scarf set is the Berry Stitch, which is alternating SC and TC so that the SC pulls down the height of the TC and makes it pop out like a little faux bobble.
• In order to make your TC pop out, you must pull the following SC quite tight.
• If you want to customize the length of the scarf or width of the hat, just remember to keep your foundation as an ODD number or the berry bobbles won’t offset the way they are designed in the pattern.
