Hannah's Hat
My granddaughter wanted a cowl and hat set. This is the hat in the colours that she loves.
It is made with some fan lace stitches to complement the Cowl I made first. Hannah herself is modeling the set.
The hat is typically a little slouchy which was asked for, but with lighter yarn and a smaller hook it could fit a child, or go bigger with heavier yarn and a larger hook.
The hat could be made with one skein of the main colour and some left-over yarn to compliment it. Or as I did, I made the cowl and the hat with under 2 skeins of the purple and under 1 skein of the green.
I can imagine this set in gorgeous autumn colours for a more mature look, or pastel for a child. I would love to see it in a deep gold with a burgundy complement.
Please enjoy and let me know if anything is wrong with the pattern. I want to make them perfect, but being human, it is not always possible.
