Hanski
Hanski is part of my Icelandic Trio Bundle. Buy this, Skogur hat and Skreppa cowl for $12. Automatically reduced in cart.
Hanski is the wonderful word for glove in Icelandic. Here is a pair for you! Knit either the full mittens or go fingerless ;)
These are a seamless design, knit in the round from the cuff up. The mittens begin and end with a little brioche detail, whilst the fingerless mitts end with a little delicate corrugated rib. The thumb gusset is created by simple increases and for those of you who love knitting 2-at-a-time mitts – the same pattern is used for both the left and right mitts!
Never tried Brioche before? It comes complete with a video tutorial to teach you 2 colour brioche in the round, together with several other video tutorials for brioche stitches used in the pattern
These Hanski mitts are knit with the beautiful ‘E+2’ from Einrúm. There are two sizes - a Small, and a Medium to Large size.
