Hapisk
This design echoes the basic structure of the Shetland hap, with its stripes and shell-like lace border, but also contains Icelandic and modern elements. While the central square harks back to Icelandic long shawls with its sequence of stripes, undulating lace, and crochet bind-off, the wrappable shape of this hap gives it a modern, wearable feel.
