Good friends of mine are due to be married, and these two lovely humans are very deserving of their happy ever after. Thinking about their journey to find each other, and how well they compliment each other, and now how they are now connecting to life together – was the inspiration for this design.

Two full cables aligned together in harmony, but yet each individual and expressive in their own right. They dance up the blanket side by side, flowing and twisting, but always together.

Knitting Joy Chunky yarn up into this gorgeous big blanket was such a treat; the yarn is so full and thick, yet soft and comforting. The finished blanket is such a happy happy place to snuggle up, with a nice weight and texture; it will calm you and cocoon you on harder days.

This is a stunning blanket, and we know it will bring you happiness too.

Featured is our large size, definitely big enough for two, she measures 1.7m wide x 1.45m, weighing 2.2kg

We recommend this pattern as an advancing beginner, suitable for the knitter who can knit, purl, follow a pattern, cable (or happy to learn) cast on and off. It is knit flat on large circular needles, no seaming is required. Please note you are best to make the cable pattern using your fingers.
