With my specially developed method for single crochet Color-change, your crochet stitches will have smoother edges and be more symmetrical for a pleasing finished look.

Square 9 is crocheted with an H hook and Worsted Weight yarns:
180 yards for Background and border
66 yards Black
55 yards White including border
2 yards Dark Gray for Eyes
2 yards Red for Collar
1 yard Pink for Nose
