Happy Chappy is a very happy smiling frog. He loves to make others smile, just jumping around feeling happy.

I’ve used cotton dk and also chenille/velvet yarns for this design. It should work with any size/yarn.

The pattern uses techniques to crochet the arms and legs into the body so they’ll be nice and secure.

He has been designed with minimal sewing in mind. Aside from being much more secure for children’s play – who’s
got time for all that extra sewing!

Finished sizes for items I’ve made:

• Hobbii Rainbow 8/6 cotton; 2.5mm hook and 2.75 hook– Finished size approx. 22cm long, 14cmin the body. Note:
• Some versions used more than 1 ball of dk cotton in green.
• Premier Retro Velvet; 5mm hook - Finished size approx. 41cm total, Body 24cm
• Hobbii Happy Chunky Fine; 4.5m hook - Finished size approx. 38cm/Body 23cm
