Pattern Description from Interweave Online Store: “Texture and color come together in this cheerful tunic. Each piece is worked separately from the lower edge to the armhole, then given a raglan shaping to the neck. The modified rib at the hem, cuffs, and neck is repeated in the yoke where it is punctuated with flecks of color, drawing upon the Fair Isle colorwork in the body and sleeves.”
Finished Size: 39½ (42, 44½, 47)“ (100.5 (106.5, 113, 119.5) cm) bust/chest circumference. Sweater shown measures 42” (106.5 cm).
Yarn: Naturally Luxury DK (50% wool, 50% mohair; 114 yd (104 m)/50 g): #933 fuchsia (MC), 6 (6, 7, 8) balls, #962 celadon (A), 5 (5, 6, 7) balls, #980 wild mushroom (purple; B), 1 (1, 1, 2) balls, #976 antique (rose; C), and #972 lagoon (blue; D), 2 (2, 3, 3) balls each, #994 gold (E), 1 (1, 2, 2) balls, and #982 pine (F), 1 ball.
Yarn weight: #4 - Medium
Gauge:
- 26 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st color patt on larger needles
- 24 sts and 39 rows = 4” (10 cm) in yoke patt on smaller needles.
Needles: Sizes 6 and 7 (4.0 and 4.5 mm). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
