Construction
This hat was born from a drawing my daughter Allie made for her friend Jameson. He has a strong love of dinosaurs and Allie a strong love of drawing, so what better way to complement them both than to make a darling hat using Allie’s drawing.
This hat is knit using light Sport/ fingering weight yarn. It is a fun and easy knit (great for scrap or stash yarn). This hat is knit in the round from ribbing up to crown with an (optional) extra long ribbing section to allow it to be turned up. This color work design never uses more than two colors per row, making it fun to knit and easy on the hands. The pattern is worked in chart form only and comes with three options; full color, black and white and also a bonus chart in case any of you avid knitters would like to add a complementary cowl to the project pages!
