Looking for something different instead of the usual orange & black for Halloween. Of course you can use traditional colours but I thought I’d like something different this year.

The gonk/gnome measure 10” tall from top of head to sole of shoe. As always the eyes are optional and the hats are always made so that the eyes aren’t needed. The body and head are made in one piece, legs are attached separately.

Gauge isn’t important just needs to be compact so that stuffing doesn’t show through.

King Cole pricewise DK and King Cole luxury fur for the beard but any yarn and colour combinations can be used.

Materials needed:
Needles UK No 10 (3.25mm) US 3 & No8 (4mm) US 6
Tapestry/Darning needle for sewing up
Toy stuffing
Suggested colours – DK/8ply
50g each of rust/purple/green
20g skin tone
Beard 10g King Cole Faux fur in badger
12mm eyes (optional)
