Happy Halloween (Kids) Mittens have three chart options. Choose the one you like best or knit all three for friends or siblings.

Materials
• US Size 1 (2.25 mm) and 1 ½ (2.5 mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); tapestry needle
• Sport weight yarn, ex. Sandnes Garn Tove (175 yards / 50 grams). About 197 – 205 yards / 56-60 g total.

Approx. for each color:

• orange 11 g, 32y/29 m
• violet 16 g, 40y/36 m
• white 7 g, 20y/18 m
• black 15 g, 42y38 m
• yellow 1 g, 4y/3 m

Actual yardage will differ depending on yarn, needles, and option chosen.

Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 50 stitches and 57 rows (without ribbing). With recommended yarn and needles, the mittens will measure approx. 10 cm from thumb opening to the tip and should fit a 4-6 year old child. The size can be adjusted by using thicker/thinner yarn and needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. Some of the design elements are added using duplicate stitch technique after the knitting is finished.
