I created this blanket pattern to capture the spirit of Hanukkah as the Festival of Lights – bright colors, the candlelight of the menorah, and spinning dreidels.

The center part of the blanket has 1 yellow square representing the shamash candle in the middle of the menorah, and 8 gray/yellow squares for the 8 nights of Hanukkah. The top and bottom of the blanket is made of a total of 12 colorful dreidels, a number that matches with the 12 tribes of Israel.
