Happy Hour Throw Blanket
If you’re like me, you don’t discriminate much between wine, beer, or cocktails, so this blanket covers all of your bases! This blanket would make a lovely birthday or housewarming gift. The pattern should suit beginners, but no guarantees on a good result if you decide to have a few drinks WHILE you work…
The pattern incorporates techniques of filet crochet (the style in which a design is created in deliberate spaces) and bobble stitch to keep you engaged.
Included in the download is six pages with several photos, traditional crochet instructions, as well as a link to my own amped up grid pattern which simplifies the pattern into an easy-to-follow visual. This pattern is suitable for crocheters of all experience levels and is written in U.S. crochet terms.
Size 4 medium weight yarn is recommended, requiring approximately 2,700 yards. I used Bernat Pop! Yarn in Paisley. This was actually self-striping yarn, but I deconstructed each color as I went. Regular solid-color yarn will work great.
Finished size is approximate to a standard throw blanket, 52”x60”
I am happy to answer any questions before or after purchase.
