Happy Penguin Sweater

Originally published in Ilikeknitting.com’s October 2014 issue, this version features new sizes (2- 10 years) as well as changes to the hood, and front placket.
Two of my younger children have been smitten with penguins for several years now and have constantly begged me to knit them a penguin sweater. One of them has even resorted to drawing pictures of penguins for me as a reminder that I need to knit him his sweater. When this yarn came in, he immediately ran off with it and claimed it to be “Penguin Worthy” and the Penguin Sweater came to be! What’s cuter than a waddling baby penguin? I couldn’t leave out the smallest member of the house, could I?
