If you like fun crochet stitch patterns, this pattern is for you! I am always trying to create unique and out of the ordinary stitches that are fun to crochet and not boring, that form stitch patterns that are intriguing to look at.

My Happy Stitches cowl is similar in shape to my other triangular cowls but with a slightly smaller profile. Happy Stitches is very easy to wear, you just drop it over your head and go, with no ends to wrap or to keep in place.

Crocheted with two interesting stitch patterns that open wide with wet blocking, the cowl fabric has an open mesh design that is perfect for warmer temperatures especially when crocheted with a lightweight warm-weather yarn. Or, you can crochet the cowl with a cozy wool yarn and wear it for warmth in the Winter.

I used the ultrasoft and beautiful Illimani Yarn Sabri (437 yards/100 grams, organic cotton/alpaca) for my cowl. Check out their yarn here.
