The YouTube tutorial is also available at https://youtu.be/4Z3Sp6Rpeqs.
The Sweet Sun Mandala pattern is a confident beginner-friendly crochet pattern. The pattern uses simple stitch repeats with the trickiest stitch being a treble crochet two together. If you can complete this stitch, you should feel confident in attempting this pattern.
This pattern creates a 13-round mandala, using US crochet terminology, and makes an approximately 28cm or 11-inch mandala when made using a 4-ply or fingering weight yarn.
The printable pattern file includes row-by-row photo instructions to help you through any tricky spots. It also includes a photo tutorial for wrapping a metal hoop in yarn to help mount your mandala on your wall.
If you choose to yarn that is larger than fingering weight, your mandala will end up larger than 28cm.
