This pattern demonstrates a technique for making knitted jewelry. One skein of Bonsai will make at least 2 necklaces. The edging and the neckband is crocheted.
Materials
Berroco Bonsai 1 skein ( 77 yds – 71 m 97% Bamboo, 3% Nylon)
Size 7 (4.5 mm knitting needles)
Size H (5.0 mm) and size I (5.5 mm) crochet hooks
32 donut beads (or preferred bead – bead holes have to be large enough to accommodate the yarn)
One centerpiece type bead
1 button
2 stitch markers
