Updated version shown in colors: Latent Hues Oasis Fingering. Colors were worked from lightest to darkest.
The updated sample shown used approximately 800 yds/732 m total: Color A: 255 yds/233 m, Color B: 330 yds/302 m, and Color C: 215 yds/197 m.
The original version used two skeins (640 yds/585 m) of our discontinued Cashmere Silk Fingering yarn in color Harbor, but this cowl can be made in any fingering weight yarn.
If those colors aren’t available, any from this category will work.
HOOK:
Updated Version: US size 7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Original Version: US G (4.0 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
SKILL LEVEL:
Beginner - Perfect for those who are just beginning or who have crocheted a project or two. Concepts include triple (treble) crochet, chaining, skipping stitches, and changing colors.

A simple, lovely cowl that drapes and shimmers and can be made in a few hours. Great for last-minute gifts or for tossing on with all your favorite outfits! You’ll want to make one in every color!
I hope that when you crochet this cowl you feel transported to a place of peace and tranquility. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of your hook, the soft feel of the fiber, and the harmony of your colors. Let this project become a sanctuary of calm and restoration.
