The Hare and the Tortoise are two competitive characters based on “The Tortoise and the Hare” tale by Aesop. With this couple of racers, you’ll want to dive back into the stories of your childhood with this pattern.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Hare and Tortoise measure approx. 13cm and 8cm (5.1in and 3.1in), respectively, when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.
