Harlech
This unisex hat combines subtle slip stitch colourwork overlaid with flowing cables, and the result is unusual and eye-catching. The lower cabled band design is worked flat, then stitches are picked up around the top to work the crown in a single colour.
The colours of the knitted fabric really shine, thanks to the use of a Wensleydale-Zwartbles hand-dyed blend. This single-flock yarn from Chilton Wensleydales comes in 11 warm and cheerful shades. The hat is finished with optional decorative buttons.
