This stash-buster shawl isn’t as difficult as it looks. Reading the charts helps, even if you generally use a written pattern.

For most patterns, I use a smaller hook than most people; thus you may want a larger hook than the G (4.00 mm) shown.

Each diamond uses a scant 4 yd. of worsted--more like 3 2/3 yd. I used stash yarn for the diamonds.

I used one skein (8 oz.) of Herrschner’s Worsted for the main color, without fringe. Fringe requires a second skein.
