Uses size 5 needles for small, size 6 for medium, size 7 for large and size 8 double-pointed needles.

The original yarns for the pattern have been discontinued. Tilli Tomas Sock (double-stranded) and Tilli Tomas Pure and Simple or Rock Star are recommended as Milan and Himlaya Silk substitutes, respectively.
