Harlequin Jumper
The Harlequin Jumper is a moody 1940s inspired knit.
The diamond Harlequin pattern is found all the way back in the medieval era, most noticeably at the height of the Italian theaterform Commedia Dell
Arte, which flourished in the 1500s. The character Arlecchino wore a motley diamond patterned costume.
This pattern gained huge popularity again in the 1940s, and the silhouette of the jumper is inspired by this decade.
The Jumper is knit top down in a multicolored diamond pattern, with solid colored sleeves that are picked up and knit on at the end.

Pick the size with a bust measurement closest to your own. It is a negative ease pattern, and so has built in stretch, meaning the measurements above are not the finished jumpers measurements, but the size it will fit best with the built in stretch. If you prefer more ease you can easily knit a size up.
