Harlequin Poncho
This poncho provides a generous, flowing fit and will quickly become a wardrobe staple.
The poncho features a raised diamond pattern, ribbed edges, and a cozy turtleneck. It is constructed in one piece with the side /arm edging worked as you go along and the neck added after.
The ample positive ease allows this piece to fit North American sizes S to L. It is modelled in the photographs on a US size 4 dress form.
The pattern is written in standard US crochet terms and a symbol chart is provided for the main pattern stitches.
The sample in the photographs was crocheted with 1500 m (3.5 skeins) of Herrschners Worsted 8 yarn in Dark Grey.
This pattern is not suitable for beginners and would best suit those with some experience using front-post stitches.
