Harlequin Shells Hooded Scarf
In super-bulky “roving” style yarn, this ultra warm hooded scarf works up quickly to chase away winter’s chill! A smiple stitch pattern (fully charted) of staggered shells in contrasting colors, makes a geometric visual statement and the optional tassels add a touch of whimsy. Winter winds hold no menace to a woman wrapped in this hood and generously sized scarf!
The pattern accompanies Chapter 16 in the book, and teaches technique and use of the Adjustable Ring for starting (button, which also uses smaller hook); Foundation stitches, both fsc and fdc; chainless dc turning, and the making of tassels.
Pattern uses US terms, but book provides a conversion chart for users of UK terms.
